Ponderella is an experiment with Ballpoint pen at first and then with watercolor over time. Down at the signature you can see it was dated three times. It is one of the only paintings in my collection with this distinction. Much of the exploration in this painting has found its way into future work. Because of that I consider it a transitional work.
